DWA: List 5 vocab words that are clothing, 5 that are daily verb activities (to brush, to comb, etc.) & 5 vocab words that are school related (clubs/teams/etc.)
Centers: 7 minutes/center-- Communication points today for all who use their study time well & who stay focused & on task. Negative points for those (perhaps the entire group) that does not study well & does not stay focused. If I have to call on your group to get back to work/quiet down/socialize less-study more, ALL in the group earn a negative point.
1-VOCAB. One person (any student) takes the white vocab papers. Keep them "secret" from the others in the group. Say the printed word-sometimes say the Spanish, other times, say the English. Keep track of which member answers correctly first. If no one knows the word, tell them the answer & ask it again in 2 or 3 words.

2 VOCAB. See above #1 The leader is the one with the most points from center 1.
3 VOCAB. See above #1 The leader is the one with the most points from center 2.
4 PRONUNCIATION-Using the printed pages, read each one out loud (together, separately or taking turns, sentence by sentence) Pay particular attention to the BIG NUMBERS. The leader is the one with the most points from center 3.
5. PRESENTE/PRETERITO --Using the white boards, write the conjugations for the words on the green paper, one at a time. Then look at the back for the correct answers. The leader is someone who hasn't yet been a leader for your group at any other center.
